 | I was born in Sydney NSW 1961. I am the youngest of 8 children so family and family values are very important to me, being the youngest in my family has enabled me to learn about relationships by observing my parents, brothers and sisters and seeing what is needed to make a good relationship work, such things as love, trust, compassion and compromise. I feel these learnings allow me to bring a warmth and understanding to your particular ceremony. I have been married to my lovely wife Elaine for in excess of 24 years, during this time we have raised my stepson to the man he is today, a man of whom we are both very proud. I have recently moved to the beautiful Central Coast where the beauty is not only visual, the people are so friendly and wanting to embrace newcomers, this place where I live has a village vibe and a real sense of community (Can you guess where I live?). My working career prior to becoming a Celebrant has been in sales, primarily working in the fast moving consumer goods market for the past 23 years, with leading brands such as Bushell's, Lipton, Glad, Armor All and Chux, in more recent times as a National Business Manager. This is how I obtained my public speaking skills. | My desire to become a Celebrant is driven by many reasons, some of those being - To provide you with a ceremony for your occasion, that is sincere, meaningful and enjoyable.
- To contribute and be a part of the very positive side of life, that being our life's celebrations - Weddings, Baby Naming, Renewal of Vows, Commitment etc.
- To ensure those people we love who have passed away have their life's story told in a way that informs, honours and respects their contribution to society and family.
- To guide, comfort and support people through a stressful and yet special time in their life.
